PRIMARY CARE NURSE PART TIME

Nor'West Co-op Community Health Centre requires a Primary Care Nurse for a .5 EFT part-time indefinite term position to function within an interdisciplinary collaborative team and is responsible for delivery of primary care nursing to clients living in the Inkster Community.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Nursing
• Current Active Practicing registration with CRNM
• 2 years experience in primary care or related community experience
• Current basic life support certificate
• Excellent nursing assessment skills including triage
• Knowledge of health promotion and adult education, culturally sensitive
• Excellent communication and couselling skills
• Ability to work independently
• Child abuse and criminal records check required
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
