 Our Services Include

  1. Nursing Foot Care

  2. Nursing health assessment including an assessment of the lower extremities

  3. Ongoing nursing assessment and evaluation

  4. Health education

  5. Brochures and handouts related to foot care

  6. Referrals as required for further professional care (ie: podiatrist, physician, etc.)

  7. Regularly scheduled appointments as available to maintain continuity of care throughout the year


You are eligible for foot care if:

  1. You are unable to cut your own toenails due to frail health (i.e.: diabetes,arthritis, poor eyesight, etc.)

  2. Your feet are in poor condition

  3. You may also be eligible for foot care if you have some extended health benefits such as Blue Cross.




On Your First Appointment

Please bring the following:

•Manitoba Health Card

•A list of your medications

•The name of your family physician

•The name and phone number of your next of kin

•A small clean towel


On Each Return Appointment

•Bring a small, clean towel to each appointment.

•Foot file as requested.


You will be discharged from the program if:

•you are admitted to the hospital or a personal care home

  1. you fail to comply with the care plan mutually decided by you and your nurse.


If you are unable to keep your appointment,

call our office as soon as possible at 940-2141.
